Liberator (the gun)

While not a media buff I do manage to stumble upon quite a bit as people gush about their most recent Interwebs find. This of course prompts me to look it up, which I guess makes me a sucker as well. 

OK, so people are making weapons with 3D printers. Interesting? briefly. Newsworthy? perhaps once but make it hard to find. A threat to life on earth as we know it? Well, No.

You don't need a 3D printer to make an untraceable firearm (or any other of a myriad of things that can extinguish life). I imagine a prison inmate looking over the new Ka-bar physible and saying: I can make that with a toothbrush and this concrete floor in about 2 minutes..

Those that want to cause chaos will and those that truly want someone dead (and act) almost always succeed. The devil is in the entire process not a single part. Thankfully the hardest part has little to do with the weapon.
